Union Square Credit Union regards your privacy and security with the utmost importance and is committed to safeguarding any information that you share with the Credit Union. In order to provide services, the Credit Union must obtain from you, certain personal information regarding your accounts and financial relationships. The Credit Union collects only such information as you knowingly provide to us or specifically authorize us to obtain on your behalf. Union Square Credit Union, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Union Square,” “Credit Union,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), strives to serve your needs and protect your information, including any information we collect about you.
The Online Privacy Policy ("Policy”), in combination with other relevant privacy notices that we provide to you (e.g., pursuant to financial privacy laws), informs you of the policies and practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of any personal information that we and our service providers collect from or about users in connection with the website and mobile applications (collectively, “Sites”). This Policy covers your interaction with Union Square Credit Union, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and companies or third parties engaged by Union Square and its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Service Providers”) when you visit and use any website or application owned by the Credit Union, or visit any other sites where we have indicated our Policy expressly applies, including but not limited to, our website at unionsquare.org and our mobile application.

If you inquire, apply for, or obtain a financial product or service with us, we will use and share that information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. For a better experience while using our Sites, we may require you to provide us with certain personal information, including but not limited to:
a) Personal Information You Provide to Us.

In general, we use your personal information collected through your use of the Sites to respond to your requests as submitted through the Sites, to provide you the services you request, and to help serve you better. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We disclose your personal information collected through your use of the Sites as described below.
a) In Accordance with Our Other Privacy Notices. Other than as described in this Privacy Policy in connection with the Sites, this Privacy Policy does not apply to the processing of your information by us or third parties with whom we share information. We do not sell your information.
b) Third-Party Service Providers. We may share your personal information with third-party or affiliated service providers that perform services for or on behalf of us in providing the Sites for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including the following.

The Sites’ provision of a link to any other website or location is for your convenience and does not signify our endorsement of such other website or location or its contents. We have no control over, do not review, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. Please be aware that the terms of this Privacy Policy do not apply to these outside websites. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every website you visit.
YOUR CHOICES REGARDING YOUR INFORMATION
You have several choices regarding the use of information on the Sites.
a) Disable or Remove Cookies. Cookies store your preferences while utilizing the Sites. You may disable or remove cookies within your web browser settings. In doing so, the Sites will still work; however, some functions may not work properly.
b) How We Respond to Do Not Track Signals. Some web browsers transmit “do not track” signals to the websites and other online services with which your web browser communicates. There is currently no standard that governs what, if anything, websites should do when they receive these signals. We currently do not act in response to these signals. If you provide your phone number through the Sites, we may send you notifications by SMS, such as providing a fraud alert. You may opt out of SMS communications by unlinking your mobile phone number through the Sites.
e) Opting Out of Location Tracking. If you initially consented to the collection of geolocation information through the Sites, you can subsequently stop the collection of this information at any time by changing the preferences on your device. Please note, however, that if you withdraw consent to our collection of location information, you may no longer be able to use some features of the Sites.
SAFEGUARDS AND RETENTION
We implement reasonable, administrative, technical, and physical measures in an effort to safeguard the information in our custody and control against theft, loss, and unauthorized access, use, modification, and disclosure. Nevertheless, transmission via the Internet is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of your information.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The Sites do not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 18 through the Sites without obtaining consent from a parent or legal guardian. In the case we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we delete it from our servers as soon as possible. PRIVACY POLICY UPDATES

Any material changes to this Privacy Policy are effective thirty (30) calendar days following notice of the changes on the Sites. These changes are effective immediately for new users of the Sites.
