IRAs—traditional and Roth accounts

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) are powerful investment tools that help members save and grow wealth for retirement. Visit with a Union Square team member to learn more about the differences between traditional and Roth IRAs—most notable is the time in which funds are taxed. In short, for a traditional IRA, invested funds are tax deductible and withdrawals in retirement are taxed. With a Roth IRA, contributions are not tax deductible, but withdrawals in retirement are tax-free.
